Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 1 pound Mahi Mahi fillets fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder substitute with paprika for milder flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin no substitution recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika can substitute with regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder or fresh onion, adjust quantity
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or 1 clove fresh minced garlic
  • to taste Salt & Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice fresh
For the Cream Sauce
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Water or additional lime juice
For the Tacos
  • 4 pieces Whole Wheat Tortillas or corn tortillas for gluten-free
  • 2 cups Shredded Cabbage any variety
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro omit if not preferred
  • 1 medium Avocado sliced
  • to taste Crushed Red Pepper optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place Mahi Mahi fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Squeeze fresh lime juice over each fillet and sprinkle the spice mix evenly across.
  5. Bake the Mahi Mahi for 17-20 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together plain yogurt, lime juice, and additional seasonings for the sauce.
  7. Warm the tortillas on the stovetop or in the microwave until soft and pliable.
  8. Assemble the tacos with the baked fish, shredded cabbage, cilantro, avocado, and drizzle the cream sauce on top.
  9. Serve immediately while fresh and warm.
