Method
 

Steps
  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add rice, stirring gently; sauté for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Incorporate diced onion, and sauté for 2–3 minutes until translucent.
  4. Mix in soy sauce, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne; stir for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, stir, and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
  7. Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.
