Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 1 minute. Add 1 pound of ground pork and cook for 4-6 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric, and a dash of pepper. Cook for an additional minute.
  3. Introduce 2 cups of shredded cabbage and 1 cup of shredded carrots into the skillet. Sauté for 4-6 minutes until tender but still slightly crisp.
  4. While the veggies cook, bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook 8 ounces of rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet.
  5. Toss everything in the skillet for about 2 minutes over medium heat. Ensure noodles are coated with the sauce and mixed well with the veggies and pork.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with sliced green onions. Serve immediately while warm.
