Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Season chicken with garlic salt and bake for about 45 minutes.
  3. After cooling, shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Char the corn tortilla halves over an open flame for about 1 minute each side.
  5. Pour ½ inch of green chile enchilada sauce into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  6. Layer tortillas, chicken, cheese, sour cream, and sauce, repeating until all are used.
  7. Cover the casserole with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
