- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Place the squash halves cut side down in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25 minutes.
- Check for tenderness; cook in 5-minute increments if needed until fork-tender.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat, whisk in brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth to create a glaze.
- Brush the cooked squash with the brown sugar glaze and return to the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, brushing any remaining glaze over the top.
