Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and unsalted butter over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and celery; sauté for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1–2 minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, and chicken stock; simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  4. In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated shrimp in a single layer; sear for 2–3 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer shrimp to the sauce and simmer for 1–2 minutes to combine flavors.
  6. Serve over rice, grits, or bread; garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
