- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unwrap all 24 Hershey Kisses and set them aside in a bowl.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar and softened salted butter. Add in egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat them with sanding sugar.
- Place cookie balls on the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart, and bake for about 7 minutes.
- Press an unwrapped Hershey Kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
