Preparing the Mustard
- Soak the mustard seeds in water and apple cider vinegar for 12-24 hours at room temperature.
- Prepare the spice blend by mixing paprika, cayenne, turmeric, and salt in a small bowl.
- Drain the seeds, then combine in a saucepan with soaking liquid, sweetener, and spice blend. Cook gently for about 10 minutes.
- Blend the mixture until a slightly coarse texture is achieved.
- Cool the mustard before transferring it into an airtight jar for storage.
