Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them skin-side down on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or on a grill rack. Brush the top with olive oil.
  4. Generously coat the salmon fillets with the sweet smoky glaze. Let them marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Transfer the marinated salmon to the oven or grill. Bake for 12-15 minutes or grill for 6-7 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven or grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
