Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce until well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your grill to medium-high heat.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them skin-side down on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or on a grill rack. Brush the top with olive oil.
- Generously coat the salmon fillets with the sweet smoky glaze. Let them marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer the marinated salmon to the oven or grill. Bake for 12-15 minutes or grill for 6-7 minutes on each side.
- Remove the salmon from the oven or grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes
For best results, use fresh salmon fillets and ensure correct cooking times to avoid drying out. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
