Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine butter or coconut oil, nut butter, and honey or maple syrup in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30-45 seconds until melted and smooth.
  2. If using, add chocolate protein powder to melted mixture and mix until fully blended.
  3. Stir in old-fashioned oats until evenly coated with the mixture.
  4. Fold in unsweetened flaked coconut and mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Transfer mixture to pan and press down firmly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes until firm.
  7. Remove from pan and cut into bars or squares.
